This page is for professionals working with service users that are either Gypsy, Roma or Traveller.  If you want to improve your service for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller women and survivors of domestic abuse, you can begin by accessing the resources below.

This Traveller Movement microsite functions as a toolkit for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller women. Professionals can share this website with clients and give them our domestic abuse helpline number if they want to receive specialised support from someone who shares their experience.

At Traveller Movement, our aim is for mainstream services to be educated and aware of the safety issues that impact Gypsy, Roma and Traveller women leaving abusive relationships. Statutory and non-statutory services must be inclusive, welcoming and anti-racist. If you’re committed to making your service less ‘hard to reach’ and would like to partner with Traveller Movement, get in touch and see how we can work together for GRT women and survivors of domestic abuse.
